Miss Glossybox November/December Unboxing & Review 2013

OMG a Box review? really Caitlin?....Yes Im finally posting box reviews from this month it has been awhile since I was away last month for box reviews but I thought hey why not get back to that!!

As you may know Miss Glossybox is the part of Glossybox that is aimed more towards the younger teen group that is sent out every 2 months, but they do still have some pretty good products in it! If you would like to sign up to Miss Glossybox just click here. (*)

This was the November / December box and Ill be honest not that impressed this time :( I was expecting a box that just encompassed the holiday season but there wasn't as much as a piece of tinsel involved in this box.
A quick look at the products.....

So...? Fragrance - So...? Sinful Body Spray. Price: £1.69 for 75ml - www.boots.com

This you can tell is very much aimed to the younger subscribers of the box, its not something Ive used for years and dont really use now. It is a great size for travel though so if you need to you can just through it in a gym bag.

Jelly Pong Pong - 2 in 1 Shadow/Liner. Price: £10.50 - jellypongpong.com

I have actually received one of these before in a blueish green color and while I like both colors the pencils themselves are way to hard. If I was to use this as a liner or a shadow I would have to scrub it on my eye which honestly not something I am jumping to do. I wish it was a softer pencil because this is a color I could easily use in a daily basis.

Clear Start from Dermalogica - Breakout Clearing Foaming Wash. Price: £13 for 177ml - cleanstart.com

I have recieved several different pieces in boxes from Dermalogica and never had any complaint so I am really looking forward to trying this out. I love to change up my skincare routine and I'm always up for trying new stuff out so cant wait to add this to my other skincare.

Elegant Touch - Little Mix Nail Wraps. Price: £6 for a set - www.boots.com

I do love a good nail wrap but again you can easily tell as to what age group this product in aimed for. I think they are pretty cute just not for me really.

Lacoste Perfume - Touch of Pink. Price £38.50 for 50ml - theperfumeshop.com

This has been a scent I have loved for years but never bought so I was super happy to see this in the box!! Very much my kind of scent and will most likely be picking up a full size when I finish the sample :)

SO thats all for this months Miss Glossybox review not their best but still somethings Ill use but hopefully the next one in January will be better :)

Glossybox September 2013 Unboxing & Review *The London Edition*

With it being September it means fashion week has been kicking off all over and this actually arrived after fashion week but it is the theme of this months box and I have to say I do think the box design is pretty cool :)
Loving the paper inside as well so unique adds such a pretty twist to this months subscription.
A quick look at the products....

Elizabeth Arden - Untold Perfume. Price: £48 for 50ml, £69 for 100ml - www.debenhams.com
I first heard of this perfume in a Shaaanxo video and thought hmm pretty cool bottle seeing as I am sucker for packaging Ill be honest that's what attracted me to it but it actually smell pretty good to!! Its a very strong and mature floral scent but at the right event it would be perfect, I am very much a sweet kinda scent person so this will be a great change.

Eylure - Pre-glued Lashes. Price: £5.06 - www.eylure.com
I love me some eyelashes but I seriously suck at putting them on I have found only 1 pair that I can apply and not look a crazy eyelash lady that got ready in the dark!! I'm pretty excited to try these out though the whole pre-glued thing interests me it will be good to see if they actually work.

Toni & Guy HairMeet Wardrobe - Classic Shine & Gloss Serum. Price: £7.19 for 30ml - www.boots.com
If you hadn't already noticed through this blog that anything haircare related I am on it like nothing else. I freaking love this serum I just run it through the ends on my hair after I use a flat iron makes them super soft and shiny. I haven't used to many Toni & Guy products only because they can be a little expensive but I would def recommend this for someone looking for a nice hair serum.

Be A Bombshell Cosmetics - Onyx Eye Liner. Price: $14 for 3g - www.beabombshell.com

Ekk was so excited to see a product by these guys, Jen over at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom is always getting things from beauty box (she is subscription box queen!!) and I am always super jealous because they always seem to be lip products. Anyway I love this eyeliner I'm not the biggest fan of felt tip liners but I love that you can get so many looks out of it. Super sad we cant get it in the UK though.

Rimmel - Stay Blushed Blusher in Pop of Pink. Price: £4.49 for 14ml - uk.rimmellondon.com

This is probably a first for me I have never used a liquid or cream blush only because I feel it will go horribly wrong and I will look like a pink faced crazy lady. I love the colour very me so I am looking forward to trying it out if I can ever get the hang of applying it.

That's all for this months Glossybox I know its super late I have been crazy busy preparing to leave for the US.

Birchbox Unboxing & Review August 2013 *InStyle Edition Summer Nights Box*

So I was expecting a lot more from the InStyle edition of Birchbox when I first saw they where getting together but Ill be honest it was kinda poop. I mean I will use a some of the products but for something this big I thought it would be AMAZING.

Also no fancy box which surprised me

A quick look at the products....

Bluemandarines - SkinLife Energetic Cellular Cream. Price: £35 Full Size

I have been loving new skincare lately so this does look kind of interesting haven't heard of this brand before nor have I used anything that does anything cellular to your skin. I am super bummed about this though purely because its not even half full, If your going to give a sample at least fill it all the way up!!

Montibel.lo - Gold Oil Essence. Price: £22.50 Full Size

This is probably the item I am most excited about as some may know anything hair related I am up for trying and I use argan oil pretty much daily! The gold oil is a combination of argan and amber oil to strengthen, protect and nourish hair while giving it added shine. This has my name all over it!!

Gerda Spillmann - Hydro Pearls. Price: £30 Full Size

Another item I thought ok sounds pretty cool wouldn't mind trying it and then as you can see on the back its a FREE sample!! Come on Birchbox why am I paying you for a FREE sample??? Aside from that I'm intrigued by it, its a primer for under your foundation and I hope that it gives a nice glowing finish.

LAQA & Co. - Lip Pencil in Ring of Fire. Price: £14 *InStyle Pick*

You all know that I am a lip junkie and this was 1 of the sneak peak items that was posted on Facebook and I was really hoping for a pink or nude colour so of course I got the bright freaking red and well I was disappointed but I tried it on and I kind of love it! The Pencil is super easy to apply very creamy and has great staying power I think I will have to look up some more of these pencils :)

Molton Brown - Ylang-Ylang Body Wash. Price: £18

I love body wash and this is actually one of the first ones that have been sent in a box that I can actually stand the smell of. The bottle is pretty cute as well yes I know that's strange, but not much to say about the product it will be great for travel though!

*LIFESTYLE EXTRA*

Propercorn - Sour Cream & Chive Popcorn. Price: 90p

HATE this popcorn should not taste like this haha I'm not a fan of these life style extras you'll have seen that in most of my Birchbox reviews but I think this has been the worst I tried one and felt instantly sick which isn't normally me I normally love anything sour cream and chive flavor.

*BEAUTY EXTRA*

Birchbox - Gel Mask. Price: £10

With this mask you are meant to put int he fridge at night and then apply in the morning and well this is going to be the most fantastic thing after a night of heavy drinking and my hangover is setting in!! Love it!

Well that's all for this months Birchbox is you would like to sign up for Birchbox just click here :) (*)

Miss Glossybox Unboxing & Review July/August 2013

I have been looking forward to receiving this box since last Miss Glossybox!! It is starting to become my fave I know it is aimed more towards to to the younger age range but I love that you actually receive makeup etc in them!!

Lets get into this months box!!
Loving the Purple this month!

Miss Patisserie - Starlight Macaroon Bath Fizzy. Price: £2 for 50g - www.miss-patisserie.com/shop

This smells freaking amazing!! I'm not really a bath person so bath fizzy things are pretty wasted on me. With how good this smells I really want to try it out so who know I might break a habit of a life time and actually take a bath instead of a shower!!

Glossybox - False Lashes.

I do love me some lashes and these bad boys are a super super dramatic!! I don't think I own any that come close to these and I have to say that I am pretty excited about trying them, it wont a be an everyday look I'm sure but I think for right event these will be pretty perfect :) From the feel of them they are good quality to.

Kiss - Nail Wrap. Price: £5.99 - www.asda.co.uk

Surprise surprise this is my favorite product in the box haha as you all will know I am a nail polish junkie and have been in love with nail wraps a lot recently. Cant wait to try these out I think I might try them in the next few weeks summer is disappearing here right now so it will be fall soon and these will jazz that right up :)

Beyonce - Midnight Heat Perfume. Price: £29.50 for 50ml - www.boots.com

I will be honest this is not my kind of scent I find it very strong, I am more of a fruity girly scent kinda of person and this is very much a night scent you def feel the Midnight Heat in the smell. I do love the packaging though pretty cool way to package a perfume sample!!

VO5 - Plump It Up Dry Backcomb Spray. Price: £3.69 for 200ml - www.boots.com

This is probably the product I have used the most recently, since having my hair cut shorter I find my hair goes flat a lot quicker and it bugs the crap out of me!! I do really like this and really help plump up your hair but I have to say I was expecting more from it I find that the results it originally gives doesn't last that long at all :(

That's everything for July/Augusts Miss Glossybox I really wish these where monthly because they are slowly becoming my fave box!!

Glossybox Unboxing & Review July 2013 *Seaside Splash*

Ill be honest I have no real reason why I have been MIA recently apart from 1. I have kinda been stuck on what to blog about I want to bring more beauty reviews and more beauty related posts to here so hopefully I can start that and stick with it. Also it has been so f*@$ing hot and I don't just been hot I mean stand there and you sweat kind of hot, living on a island surround my a crap ton of water is a horrible combination for hot weather and my sanity.

Anyway let get back tot he point of this post its Beauty Box time of the month and we are kicking off with July 2013 Glossybox!! I am super happy with this box ill be honest all 3 of the boxes Ive been subscribed to have been pretty impressive lately I am loving it :)

This month theme is Seaside Splash so everything have a very beachy & under the sea look to it and I must say the box is pretty snazzy!!

A quick look at the Products...

Lets get into this...

Alterna Haircare - Bamboo Style Boho Waves Tousled Texture Mist. Price: £23 for 125ml - www.lookfantastic.com/alterna

I will say I have always been pretty intrigued by all these texture and sea salt spray and if they actually work and are worth the hype but I have naturally fluffy wavy hair and don't really like it. So I am pretty excited to have got this in a box and I haven't had to spend stupid money on it the only thing I am kind of worried about it that I have dry hair so hopefully that wont mess with it.

Essie - Sleek Sticks in So Haute. Price: £9.99 - www.boots.com/essiestockists

As we all know I am a nail polish addict so anything nail related I get super excited about plus it Essie haha Essie is probably my second fave nail polish brand and I have recently been pretty obsessed with nail wraps. The colors are more Christmasy than Id wear at this time of year but I will def be wearing them into fall!!

Sleek Makeup - Pout Paint in Rosette & Cloud 9. Price £4.99 each - www.sleekmakeup.com

I'm pretty sure this is my favorite product from the whole box!! When I first looked at the box I thought I only had the Pink but then under everything I found the white which I was so happy about as you can see from the swatches it makes an amazing pink when the colors are mixed and its totally me :)

Coola Organic Suncare Collection - Mineral Face SPF 20 Unscented. Price: £29.99 for 50ml - www.amazon.co.uk

This is one of the products that's a bit eh for me I'm sure ill use it and it does fit in with the whole theme of the box but personally not something I'm excited to use or anything. With how the weather has been recently I will have it a try under my foundation and see if it does any.

Anatomicals - Spray Misty for Me Facial Spritz. Price: £6 for 100ml - www.anatomicals.net

In the past I have received Anatomicals in boxes and have been pretty impressed and I hope I grow to like this. I have tried it once or twice but I just don't feel it does anything its meant to refresh you and can be used as a setting spray but I honestly don't see any difference.

That's all for this months Glossybox!!
Are you subscribed to Glossy? did you get anything you loved in your box? Let me know down in the comments :)
