Glossybox September 2013 Unboxing & Review *The London Edition*

With it being September it means fashion week has been kicking off all over and this actually arrived after fashion week but it is the theme of this months box and I have to say I do think the box design is pretty cool :)
Loving the paper inside as well so unique adds such a pretty twist to this months subscription.
A quick look at the products....

Elizabeth Arden - Untold Perfume. Price: £48 for 50ml, £69 for 100ml - www.debenhams.com
I first heard of this perfume in a Shaaanxo video and thought hmm pretty cool bottle seeing as I am sucker for packaging Ill be honest that's what attracted me to it but it actually smell pretty good to!! Its a very strong and mature floral scent but at the right event it would be perfect, I am very much a sweet kinda scent person so this will be a great change.

Eylure - Pre-glued Lashes. Price: £5.06 - www.eylure.com
I love me some eyelashes but I seriously suck at putting them on I have found only 1 pair that I can apply and not look a crazy eyelash lady that got ready in the dark!! I'm pretty excited to try these out though the whole pre-glued thing interests me it will be good to see if they actually work.

Toni & Guy HairMeet Wardrobe - Classic Shine & Gloss Serum. Price: £7.19 for 30ml - www.boots.com
If you hadn't already noticed through this blog that anything haircare related I am on it like nothing else. I freaking love this serum I just run it through the ends on my hair after I use a flat iron makes them super soft and shiny. I haven't used to many Toni & Guy products only because they can be a little expensive but I would def recommend this for someone looking for a nice hair serum.

Be A Bombshell Cosmetics - Onyx Eye Liner. Price: $14 for 3g - www.beabombshell.com

Ekk was so excited to see a product by these guys, Jen over at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom is always getting things from beauty box (she is subscription box queen!!) and I am always super jealous because they always seem to be lip products. Anyway I love this eyeliner I'm not the biggest fan of felt tip liners but I love that you can get so many looks out of it. Super sad we cant get it in the UK though.

Rimmel - Stay Blushed Blusher in Pop of Pink. Price: £4.49 for 14ml - uk.rimmellondon.com

This is probably a first for me I have never used a liquid or cream blush only because I feel it will go horribly wrong and I will look like a pink faced crazy lady. I love the colour very me so I am looking forward to trying it out if I can ever get the hang of applying it.

That's all for this months Glossybox I know its super late I have been crazy busy preparing to leave for the US.

Glossybox Unboxing & Review August 2013 *High Flyers Box*

Yep its that time of month again its the time where my boxes come in and both came in super early this month although it has taken me a while to finally write up this post, Ill be honest I have been kinda busy but its mostly down to being a lazy ass this week lol

Anyway enough of my rambling lets get into this months box, It was all centered around High Flyers and we received 6 different Items from around the world which I always LOVE when boxes do and there is some pretty awesome bits in this :)

A quick look at the products

*Sweden* Emite Make Up - Eyelash Curler. Price: £20 - www.emitemakeup.com

This was the sneak peak product that they released just before I got my box and Ill be honest to begin with I was like freaking great a £20 eyelash curler I don't use the 2 I have why am I going to do with this and well I was proven wrong. Once I actually tried it out it did work really well and has been so far the only thing that has kept a really good curl in my lashes.

*USA* Juicy Couture - Viva La Juicy Noir Perfume Sample. Price: £63 for 100ml - www.debenhams.co.uk/beauty/juicy-couture

I am a pretty big Juicy Couture scent fan and OMG this smells amazing!!! I had heard some pretty great things about the Noir scent and it really does smell great I will be looking out for this in full size that's for sure!

*USA* TRESemme - Platinum Strength 60 Second Concentrated Treatment Shot. £1.49 for 15ml Shot - www.tesco.com

I just finnished using this and my hair has never felt so soft!! I am pretty in love with the whole Platinum Strength line by TRESemme so I'm not surprised that I love this to. I got 2 uses out of the little shot and smells pretty damn good you are meant to apply to damaged areas of your hair after using the shampoo from the line. I don't really have any majorly damaged parts any more so I just did the ends of my hair and when up to mid length, worked great!

*UK* Jelly Pong Pong - 2 in 1 Shadow/Liner. Price: £10.50 - www.jellypongpong.com

While I think the whole 2 in 1 thing is a great idea they really should have made this a much softer pencil I would not want to scrub this over my eye lid and use it as a shadow it would be pretty painful. I haven't tried it as a liner yet but I'm kind of concerned that even as a liner this might be a little to harsh to apply which really sucks because its such a pretty color.

*Brazil* Oceane - Makeup Remover Pen. Not yet available in the UK go to www.oceane.com.br

This I think is a pretty cool concept I have used these kind of pens int he past and they have been ok but the nibs always get dirty quickly so I love that these come with refills!! I cant wait to try this out I currently use Qtips to correct makeup mistakes but these have makeup remover in the tips which sounds interesting.

That's it for Augusts high flyer box and as you can see some pretty amazing products in it!!

Miss Glossybox Unboxing & Review July/August 2013

I have been looking forward to receiving this box since last Miss Glossybox!! It is starting to become my fave I know it is aimed more towards to to the younger age range but I love that you actually receive makeup etc in them!!

Lets get into this months box!!
Loving the Purple this month!

Miss Patisserie - Starlight Macaroon Bath Fizzy. Price: £2 for 50g - www.miss-patisserie.com/shop

This smells freaking amazing!! I'm not really a bath person so bath fizzy things are pretty wasted on me. With how good this smells I really want to try it out so who know I might break a habit of a life time and actually take a bath instead of a shower!!

Glossybox - False Lashes.

I do love me some lashes and these bad boys are a super super dramatic!! I don't think I own any that come close to these and I have to say that I am pretty excited about trying them, it wont a be an everyday look I'm sure but I think for right event these will be pretty perfect :) From the feel of them they are good quality to.

Kiss - Nail Wrap. Price: £5.99 - www.asda.co.uk

Surprise surprise this is my favorite product in the box haha as you all will know I am a nail polish junkie and have been in love with nail wraps a lot recently. Cant wait to try these out I think I might try them in the next few weeks summer is disappearing here right now so it will be fall soon and these will jazz that right up :)

Beyonce - Midnight Heat Perfume. Price: £29.50 for 50ml - www.boots.com

I will be honest this is not my kind of scent I find it very strong, I am more of a fruity girly scent kinda of person and this is very much a night scent you def feel the Midnight Heat in the smell. I do love the packaging though pretty cool way to package a perfume sample!!

VO5 - Plump It Up Dry Backcomb Spray. Price: £3.69 for 200ml - www.boots.com

This is probably the product I have used the most recently, since having my hair cut shorter I find my hair goes flat a lot quicker and it bugs the crap out of me!! I do really like this and really help plump up your hair but I have to say I was expecting more from it I find that the results it originally gives doesn't last that long at all :(

That's everything for July/Augusts Miss Glossybox I really wish these where monthly because they are slowly becoming my fave box!!

Glossybox Unboxing & Review July 2013 *Seaside Splash*

Ill be honest I have no real reason why I have been MIA recently apart from 1. I have kinda been stuck on what to blog about I want to bring more beauty reviews and more beauty related posts to here so hopefully I can start that and stick with it. Also it has been so f*@$ing hot and I don't just been hot I mean stand there and you sweat kind of hot, living on a island surround my a crap ton of water is a horrible combination for hot weather and my sanity.

Anyway let get back tot he point of this post its Beauty Box time of the month and we are kicking off with July 2013 Glossybox!! I am super happy with this box ill be honest all 3 of the boxes Ive been subscribed to have been pretty impressive lately I am loving it :)

This month theme is Seaside Splash so everything have a very beachy & under the sea look to it and I must say the box is pretty snazzy!!

A quick look at the Products...

Lets get into this...

Alterna Haircare - Bamboo Style Boho Waves Tousled Texture Mist. Price: £23 for 125ml - www.lookfantastic.com/alterna

I will say I have always been pretty intrigued by all these texture and sea salt spray and if they actually work and are worth the hype but I have naturally fluffy wavy hair and don't really like it. So I am pretty excited to have got this in a box and I haven't had to spend stupid money on it the only thing I am kind of worried about it that I have dry hair so hopefully that wont mess with it.

Essie - Sleek Sticks in So Haute. Price: £9.99 - www.boots.com/essiestockists

As we all know I am a nail polish addict so anything nail related I get super excited about plus it Essie haha Essie is probably my second fave nail polish brand and I have recently been pretty obsessed with nail wraps. The colors are more Christmasy than Id wear at this time of year but I will def be wearing them into fall!!

Sleek Makeup - Pout Paint in Rosette & Cloud 9. Price £4.99 each - www.sleekmakeup.com

I'm pretty sure this is my favorite product from the whole box!! When I first looked at the box I thought I only had the Pink but then under everything I found the white which I was so happy about as you can see from the swatches it makes an amazing pink when the colors are mixed and its totally me :)

Coola Organic Suncare Collection - Mineral Face SPF 20 Unscented. Price: £29.99 for 50ml - www.amazon.co.uk

This is one of the products that's a bit eh for me I'm sure ill use it and it does fit in with the whole theme of the box but personally not something I'm excited to use or anything. With how the weather has been recently I will have it a try under my foundation and see if it does any.

Anatomicals - Spray Misty for Me Facial Spritz. Price: £6 for 100ml - www.anatomicals.net

In the past I have received Anatomicals in boxes and have been pretty impressed and I hope I grow to like this. I have tried it once or twice but I just don't feel it does anything its meant to refresh you and can be used as a setting spray but I honestly don't see any difference.

That's all for this months Glossybox!!
Are you subscribed to Glossy? did you get anything you loved in your box? Let me know down in the comments :)

Glossybox June 2013 Unboxing & Review

Yay Glossybox arrived super early this month but yet again it has taken me for ever to finally write this post whoops lol

I will say I am actually in love with this box so many great products that I will get so much use out of :)
This months box was Summer Looks and centered around festivals etc

A quick look at the products...

Monu Professional Skincare - Soap Free Facial Wash. Price: £15.95 for 100ml - www.Monushop.co.uk

This facial wash smells pretty amazing with Bergamot and Lemon so I will love using this. I have had a few samples from Monu in the past and I have liked them so I hope that with this be really good for my face. It says that it is great for all skin types especially dry, maturing and sensitive ones which is great seeing as I have both dry and sensitive skin. My only problem with this product is though is that it literally falls out of the tube.

Figs & Rose - Coco Rose Lip Balm. Price: £5 for 12.5ml - www.feelunique.com

I am a total lip junkie so this is great and its not super thick and sticky which in another great plus! Not only is it 100% natural lip balm, it is packed with antioxidants, tinted and comes in a tube. It does come with a strong rose scent but that does wear off pretty quick but leaves a nice pink tint and is super moisturizing.

Helen E Cosmetics - Eye Pencil with Smudger. Price: £8  - www.helen-e.com

I don't with with all these beauty boxes that Ill ever need to buy an eyeliner again (Although I know I probably will but that's because I am a makeup junkie) I was super happy to see this product in the box because I do really like Helen E cosmetics and I don't have many brown eyeliners especially ones that are smooth enough to smudge out nicely. This is going to look great with a neutral smokey eye!

John Frieda - Sheer Blonde Everlasting Blonde Shampoo & Conditioner. Price: £5.89 - www.boots.com/johnfrieda

Love Love Love these little fellas!! I hadn't used John Frieda until I used the purple toning one for when my hair was a little brassy and I am so excited to try these out! I change my shampoo and conditioners pretty regularly because I don't like my hair getting to used to something and I am always wanting to try new products. Great plus point for me as well is that these will be great for travel to pack in hand luggage in case luggage gets lost :)

MeMeMe Cosmetics - Long Lasting Nail Gloss in Innocent. Price: £5 - www.mememecosmetics.co.uk

Okay so I think we all know I love me some nail polish and well that's an understatement haha I have received a MeMeMe nail polish in the past and I really like it I think this will be the perfect base color for glitters though. its not as white as it looks in the picture it does have a cream base to it.

So that's it for this months Glossybox SO happy with everything cant wait to see what the future boxes hold :)
